- Answer The LG 4200 does not have a drum light. this is the FIRST washer I have ever seen without a light. I am very disappointed about this. When we washed a load of all dark clothes, we had to use a flashlight to make sure we got all the socks out of the washer.

- Answer Yes, ours fits 36” deep with room for hoses, dryer exhaust, etc. our space is 60” wide and they fit side by side with 4 - 5 inches to spare. As far as the drain pan is concerned, we have a 2” drain pipe that works fine. I’m not familiar with a drain pan.

QuestionI want to get a drip pan to place this washing machine in, and I'm wondering what depth pan I need. I assume the 33-1/4" depth of the machine includes knobs and such that don't need to be accounted for in the pan. Does anyone know the depth at the base?

- Answer Don’t just go by the dimensions. Remember the water feeds and drain. I’d want enough depth to go all the way to the wall behind the unit. Hopefully never need it, but if a hose leaks…

QuestionThese are supposed to be stackables but they don't have the same dimensions. The depths are 33.25 on washer and 30 1/8 on dryer. So isn't that strange that one sticks out more than other? Also how do you get to the top knobs if they are stackable?

- Answer No, the door hinge is not reversible. The door of a washing machine cannot be reversed to open the opposite way. The direction in which a washing machine's door opens cannot be changed due to electrical parts in the machine which cannot be moved. ^Daphane
