HDMI. It handles the most bandwith meaning wider street more traffic can be handled. Make sure it in movie mode and you select HDMI/optical for ARC (audio return channel) and you have the proper content via a Blu Ray or select movies from Netflix such as Thor Ragnarok or the latest mad Max movie.

The LG C6V series OLEDs are not a series that was released in the U.S. (the "V" indicates that it has a DVB-T tuner that is not compatible with any broadcast systems used in the U.S.) However, the "6" also indicates that it is a 2016 LG OLED and 2016 LG OLEDs do not have a built-in Dolby Atmos decoder so unfortunately, you will not be able to enjoy Dolby Atmos when connected to the LG 5.1.2-Channel High-Resolution Audio Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer and Dolby Atmos, Model # SJ9...^IFV
