While I am using a SONY Bravia with it, and this may not be your answer, but, anyway, I used an older HDMI cable that sent the video fine from my ROKU Ultra but did not send the sound via e-arc to the LG soundbar. Best of luck to you in solving this one!

The issue of losing sound when enabling eARC (enhanced Audio Return Channel) support between the LG S75QR soundbar and the LG OLED65G1PUA TV seems to be a common concern. Some potential solutions and workarounds. 1. Reset the Soundbar: Some users have reported that resetting the soundbar can help it detect the eARC signal again, resolving the issue temporarily. 2. Firmware Update: Attempting a firmware update for both the TV and the soundbar may address potential software-related issues causing the eARC connection to fail. 3. Check HDMI Cables and Ports: While the issue is likely not related to the physical HDMI cable or ports, it's still worth ensuring that the cables are securely connected and that the HDMI ports are functioning correctly. 4. Bluetooth Connection: One user suggested trying to connect via Bluetooth first, as a workaround for the eARC issue. 5. HDMI CEC Command: There is a mention of a software bug related to the HDMI CEC command to turn on the soundbar when the TV is powered on. This may not directly address the eARC issue but could be related.
