Crisp and Clear
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For $330 I say I got a great deal. The sound is crisp and clear. The rear speakers sound clear as well. I’m replacing a Sony ST5000 which cost me $1500. I can’t believe this $300+ LG sound bar sounds so much better! I couldn’t stand my Sony constantly losing signal to the sub woofer every 2-5 minutes. Plus the sound wasn’t that great, it was either too loud or too low. This LG is amazing! Also, setup was seamless since I do own an LG OLED tv.

Great soundbar! Great Price! - Instructions Below
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the S75QR which comes with the soundbar, subwoofer, reciever & two rear speakers. Sanus speaker stands i bought seperate at BestBuy. The sound is amazing! Especially for a smaller space. The instructions were not great. Very vague and not helpfull for those that are not great at that kind of thing. Everything was very nicely packed and organized making it verry easy to tell what pieces went with what. After getting everything laid out you will have a short power wire which plugs into the power converter box leading to the soundbar, a longer power wire for the sub, an HDMI cable to plug into the tv(E-Arc HDMI Port) and the soundbar(TV OUT), power cord for the reciever, and two speaker wires that you will need to plug into each rear speaker then into the reciever. The sub and reciever work remote from the sounbar. The sounbar is the only item pluged into the tv. The blue taped speaker wire goes from the receiver to the rear left speaker and the grey taped speaker wire goes from the reciever to the rear right speaker. Make sure the lead with the black stripe goes into the negative or black port on the rear speaker and the reciever. The speaker wire is clear but one side has a black stripe. You will want to plug in the subwoofer first, then the reciever once the rear speakers are hooked up to it, and then the sounbar after the HDMI cable is plugged in. Your tv should automatically sync with the sounbar if you have a newer LG tv. The rear speakers dont automatically sync up. You will need to use the soundbar remote and hit the settings button. Press to the right once and it should say “Off-Surround”, click up to turn that on. If the speakers are still not working you may need to go into your tv’s audio settings and turn on the E-Arc option. These instructions are for someone with a newer LG TV and the S75QR soundbar with rear speakers using HDMI into the E-Arc hdmi port on the tv (HDMI Port #3).

Fantastic product, crap service from Best Buy
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This LG Soundbar was bought as an "Excellent Condition" Open box item from Best Buy. When you look up what the details are of an Excellent Condition open box unit, you see this: What might be missing: Original packaging, owner’s manual, and manufacturer registration. Note how it doesn't say that there won't be ANY packing materials at all. But, for my order, they just put the 5 items you see in the sample image directly into the large OEM box, and shipped everything loose, to flop and bounce around against each other while FedEx delivers the package to you. So, what was once described as "Excellent Condition" arrived scratched, damaged, and torn. Wonderful. Thank you Best Buy employee with no brains at all. I take it your location doesn't have any bubble wrap and tape so that you could have put the bare minimum amount of effort into protecting the product that the customer was expecting to arrive in Excellent Condition? I also didn't receive the remote control, the mounting brackets, or the HDMI cable that was supposed to come with the unit. As for the product, I was amazed that it actually still works after being bounced around loose in a box FROM POMPANO BEACH FLORIDA TO DENVER COLORADO. I bought the LG S75QR Soundbar to upgrade from my LG SL4Y soundbar that I bought 2 years ago. Going from a 2.1 Soundbar to a 5.1.2 soundbar is a very nice upgrade. Very quick installation and setup for me. All I had to do was unplug the power plug and Optical Cord from the back of the SL4Y, and plug them into the L75Q Soundbar. Then unplug the SL4Y's subwoofer and then plug in the S75QR's subwoofer. Once that was done, I then I turned on the tv, and that was it. They powered up, synched up with the tv, and everything was golden. The product itself is great. Best Buy's open box delivery is a travesty, and is just unthinkable. I just can't believe they put the items loose into the box, taped the box closed, and shipped it cross country without a second thought, not to mention the missing remote control, hdmi cable, and mounting brackets.

Sounds great. Not entirely wireless though
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, sound is great with this system. I'm using this with an LG OLED 65" 4K TV (OLED65B2PUA). You'll need to buy an HDMI eARC cable for full Dolby capability. Rear speakers are not wireless. Pros: Sound is great, wireless sub definitely thickens up the sound nicely. Pretty easy setup. One remote for both TV and volume (mine are both LG...not sure otherwise). Cons: The system comes with an HDMI cable, but NOT an eARC HDMI cable...come on LG. Also, I had to turn on the eARC option in the TV settings...this should happen automagically if connected with eARC cable in my opinion (more of a TV thing rather than a soundbar issue, but...). Also note that the two little rear speakers are NOT wireless, which is quite misleading as they make it hard to find this info and the product pics do NOT show these wires (yeah, I understand the description only says wireless subwoofer). The box in the pic between the two little rears is a wireless receiver (about 2" high and 5x5" square, so not tiny) that does connect wirelessly to the main soundbar, but the two rear speakers are then connected to this rear receiver via speaker wires (included in the box). So you'll need to get creative on locating/hiding speaker wires and the rear receiver. I have the receiver under my couch (still stays connected to soundbar), and the two speakers are on bookshelves/stands at the corners of the L-shaped couch with the wires behind/under the couch. Works fine and sounds great. Of course, soundbar, sub, and rear receiver all also need power outlets near them (rear speakers don't need power, they get it from the receiver). Pic shows my speaker locations and the arrow is pointing to the receiver under the couch.

Spectacular sound
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent sound quality set up was super easy the sound that comes from the speakers when watching TV is elevated to another level. Music is streamed seamlessly through the Bluetooth feature which is nice and feels the room with great quality sound. The satellites speakers add an additional touch And crispness to watching movies and regular TV shows. You’re treated to sounds you normally would not hear when watching or listening to the regular TV speakers. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase. It was a great price and value, and it has filled the room with better sound Watching TV and movies. I would highly recommend you visit your local Best Buy store and pick one up for yourself as it will take movie night to a whole new level.

Beats Vizio at this price point
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just exchanged the Vizio M51AX-J6 for this at the same exact price ($300) because the Vizio didn’t sound that good, and this LG has exponentially better sound quality. The subwoofer gives deep, clean bass and the overall sound is crisp. The rear satellites give impressive surround sound for the price point, and I like how the satellites use classic speaker cables, which were thin enough to thread through the tubes of the Insignia mounts. The instruction manual was a joke, as are all LG manuals. It only had one page of content related to the installation and the picture was so small and jumbled it was hard to make any sense of. Thankfully, I’ve had a bit of experience with installing sound systems, so I just followed my instincts, but I could see this being a little more difficult for the uninitiated. My only real gripe is that when connected to my LG 70UM6970PUA TV via HDMI ARC, the sound occasionally switches back-and-forth with the internal TV speakers while watching TV. This is obviously very annoying, so I switched to an optical cable instead which fixed the problem and the sound quality didn’t appear to take a hit. My TV isn’t compatible with Dolby Atmos anyway, so I’m not sure if the cables really mattered. I don’t think this was an issue with the sound bar, however, as it was doing it on the Vizio too.

LG S75QR Soundbar ReviewThe LG S75QR is a mid-range 5.1.2 soundbar released in 2022. You can purchase the bar and the sub on their own as the LG S75Q, but this version includes two satellite speakers for an improved surround sound experience. As a Dolby Atmos soundbar,

Q: QuestionAre all the speakers wireless? It mentions that the sub is wireless, but makes no mention on if the rear speakers are wireless.
Asked by Andrew.
- A:Answer I purchased the S75QR 5.1.2 CH HIGH RES AUDIO SOUND BAR W/ REAR SPEAKER UNIT A few weeks ago. The Rear speakers Are Not What I would call completely wireless. This is what it I Mean: There is one set of 2 Rear speakers wires(included) that connect from the rear speakers to a rear wireless base control unit. Then the rear wireless base control unit plugs into the wall/120V AC.. The Subwoofer Is Wireless to those Speakers and Only has one Connection and that is the 120V AC Wall Plug for power. The unit works great in my opinion. When the soundbar is turned on it does take a few seconds for the rear channels to connect due to they are wireless from the subwoofer but that’s to be expected. I think in Best Buy’s description they should advise that the only speakers that are wired are from the Rear Wireless Base Control Unit to the Rear Speakers. They should not be calling it wireless in my opinion. I Actually have my rear base unit behind my couch turn the speaker wires go from that unit to my rear speakers which are all hidden. I hope that helps to clarify any one Who may have questions.

Q: QuestionCan anyone tell me how the rear speaker receiver unit connects with the sound bar wirelessly? Is it Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or line of sight IR. Thank you.
Asked by Ughhh.
- A:Answer It is radio frequency, not wi-fi. So it will not interfere. It uses a different frequency that is outside of wi-fi. It does not have to be line of sight. Just like Roku and other newer remotes use radio frequency to communicate to the set-top box. By not using Wi-Fi it doesn't interfere with other devices in the house. The pairing is done automatically when you turn it on. There are no steps to take.

Q: QuestionWhat gage is the speaker wire?
Asked by Wolf.
- A:Answer 16. I recommend you get the more heavy duty 14.
Answered by HectorZ
Q: QuestionTo clarify a previous question - When then soundbar is ON and IN USE, does the LED display turn off or dim at all or is there only one brightness setting?
Asked by Will.
- A:Answer If you download the app to your phone then you can leave the display on or set it to dim in 20 seconds or set it to go off in 20 seconds. Once you download the app you will be told to update, and after you update the new features will be there and you will be able to adjust the display settings by your phone or from your remote. One warning when I downloaded the app and updated the sound bar, I started having problems with my sound bar and had to return it. Just telling you what happen to me.

Q: QuestionAre all the speakers wireless?
Asked by Vmann.
- A:Answer No of course both the bar and the sub have power cables but the rear two speakers have a base station that need speaker cables running from both speakers to the rear receiver then the rear reciver has a power cable it's a lot easier easier to manage than have to dealing with a traditional av receiver but you do still have to deal with some speaker cables

Q: QuestionDoes it have optimal performance in 15x20 feet room? If I wall mount rear speakers 20feet away from tv.
Asked by prav.
- A:Answer I have the same dimensions in my room and the rear wall speakers receive great sound quality with no drop outs. The rear speakers auto connect to the sound bar via Bluetooth connection. I recommend downloading the LG sound bar app to easily control the sound qualty and individual speaker volume to create the perfect sound you want.
