• contrary to what some people say…HDMI cables are HDMI cables as long as you don’t buy total junk. Don’t waste money on expensive HDMI. Nobody has ever run a study that shows that anyone can tell the difference between very expensive cables and very cheap cables.

• The optimal connection from the Soundbar and TV is an optical cable. If your preference is to use an HDMI cable, it should be AN ultra high speed HDMI cable. ^Daphane
