Yes. I use it by itself, with an LG OLED TV, with no receiver, and have it hooked to an Xbox 360, Xbox One, and a Blu-ray player. They all work together fine. I also am able to use the bluetooth feature on the soundbar to listen to books and music from my iPhone while playing games on the television if I want to, or just by itself without the television. I can say I'm glad I went with the pair of LG devices when I bought them this summer. They have easily had the least conflicts between sound bar and television that I remember. Very easy to operate together or separately, and the quality is great.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No receiver necessary. It can be used without a TV. We stream Alexa through our system when we aren't watching TV.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The sound bar acts as a Bluetooth speaker, and a chrome-cast compatible speaker. It also works as a receiver for the TV. I hope that helps!
