One speaker comes with a power cord and you connect the two with a wire that powers the other as well.

To clarify the power setup for this unit, yes, the rear speaker system requires a power cord. However, you only need to plug one of the rear speakers into an electrical outlet. The second rear speaker is then connected to the first one using a provided speaker cable. This allows both speakers to receive power and audio signals while only occupying a single wall outlet. If your rear speakers aren’t producing sound, please check that: Check the LED indicator on the back of the main rear speaker. If the LED is Red, press the Pairing button on the rear speaker.
