They are wireless in that they don't require a power cable or speaker cable running to the front unit. But they do have a speaker cable that connects left rear speaker with right rear speaker. So if your couch is against a wall, the wire just goes behind your couch and you are good to go!

The rear speakers are part of the 5.1-channel setup, which includes a wireless active subwoofer. However, the rear speakers themselves are wired and require speaker cables to connect them to the soundbar. These cables will need to be hidden or routed depending on your setup. Unfortunately, they are not wireless like the subwoofer, so you'll need to plan for cable management to keep them out of sight, especially if you’re placing them behind the couch. If you're looking for a wireless solution for rear speakers, you may need to consider a different sound system that specifically offers that feature. https://www.lg.com/us/sound-bars/lg-s60tr-sound-bar#pdp_specs Please feel free to send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport if you need further assistance or have any more questions!
