“I have a Samsung TV and recently bought a LG - 5.1 Channel S60TR Soundbar. I conected them using the Optic cable provided. I'd like to be able to control the sound volume using the Samsung remote but when i've tried i get volume from both the TV.”

Wow…not sure why that is. Might be an issue to look at on your “settings” menu. Haven’t encountered that issue..
