After you press the START/PAUSE button to begin the cycle on the LG - 5.2 Cu. Ft. 14-Cycle Top-Loading Washer - Black stainless steel, Model # WT7600HKA, the lid will lock and the washer will agitate briefly without water to measure the weight of the load. It will automatically adjust the wash time for the amount of laundry, the water pressure and amount of water and other operating conditions. If you need to add more water to your wash load, you can use the WATER PLUS option, however, if the machine has reached its maximum water level, the Water Plus button will not have any effect and the Water Plus option is not available for the Tub Clean and Bedding cycles...^IFV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought this large washer for my bulky king size comforter but the water only covered 1/3 of the comforter when I washed it with BEDDING setting which does not have "water plus" option. The customer service guy told me: "Unfortunately this is how the machine was designed." and could not even connect me to a technician to talk to. I also washed another quilted queen size comforter(used BEDDING setting), the water level was OK (probably because of the weight) but it did not washed off the food my son left on it. See attached photo. I am now stuck with this machine and LG tag on Smart Diagnosis is only on Android, not Iphone. Can anyone at LG let me know if I can talk to any expert at your end?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had a problem w this last night. parts of my towels were DRY. i had to rewash. I shall try the Towel setting or the add water button.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I washed a load of towels last night, without the add water button, and there were places that were dry. Rewashing is not economical. i shall try this button. It was a smaller load of towels. they were not washed on the towel setting. Hope it works better.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I always use the bedding cycle. Sometimes, let clothes get wet, and then start the cycle over, as machine thinks its a bigger load. It is not my favorite machine by any means, but from what I have read, it will add more water than Whirlpool or Maytag (same company now). Reviews say both very stingy with water.
