QuestionWhat is the distance from the top load door to the back of the machine? My cabinets are lower than 58" clearance. How far do I need to pull the machine out further from the wall so the top load door will open fully in front of the cabinets? Plse see pic.

- Answer The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 5.2 cu. ft. Mega Capacity Top Load Washer with TurboWash® Technology, Model # WT7600HWA does have a SPIN ONLY option that can be used to drain water from the tub and spin out the clothes. This feature can be activated by pressing the SPECIAL CARE button repeatedly to select SPIN ONLY then pressing SPIN SPEED to select your desired spin speed, then pressing the START/PAUSE button. ^CP

QuestionI use cloth diapers and when washing it calls for a cold rinse cycle then hot wash cycle and then cold rinse. Is there a way to choose those options on the machine? I know I can choose water temp but only one per cycle. Thank you!

- Answer Unfortunately you are not able to customize a cycle to that level. For diapers, we list using the Allergiene cycle in the cycle guide as it uses Extra Hot temp with High spin and is for Heavy Soil. ^CP

- Answer The WT7600HWA features LoDecibel™ Quiet Operation which, even though we do not have an exact decibel number, we do say they are around the same decibel as library noise which on average is around 40 decibels. This number can vary due to the installation as well as the home acoustics. ^CP

QuestionDoes this machine have a tape that is used on the rim just under the lid or is it painted? I want to replace my 5.2 cubic feet Samsung which Samsung used a silver tape on that is peeling off and the metal rim is rusting badly! It's about 2 yrs old.

- Answer Even though vinegar is widely used for laundry, it is not a laundry product and so the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 5.2 cu. ft. Mega Capacity Top Load Washer with Turbowash™ Technology, Model # WT7600HWA does not have a compartment that is designed for use with it and if you are using it for your laundry, you will need to add it directly into the tub before adding your load. Vinegar is acidic and if used regularly, depending on the acidity of the vinegar, could stretch the plastic that the dispenser compartments are made of...^IFV

- Answer I don't think it soaks overnight, but you don't need to anymore. It does a great job with soaking and then running the cycle you choose.

QuestionThe problem with this particular washer is that at the halfway of the spin cycle it starts all over adding water . It never finishes the spin cycle. Could this be a timer issue?

QuestionHas anyone tried turning the machine OFF in order to soak for longer times (sometimes i need overnight!) ?? I was told this should be fine; just when i turn back on it will drain immediately. ?

- Answer If there is any water remaining in the tub after the washer shuts off, it will drain following 4 minutes delay. All functions will be suspended until the water has been completely drained and the washer shuts off. ^CP
