“How badly does the finish on this washer (black stainless steel) show fingerprints and smudges? Is it easy to clean without scratching the finish?”

• Okay, I'm answering my own question since I purchased the pair. They are beautiful! The finish is easily scratched, however. I haven't put anything other than clothes and my hands on it and it was scratched after a couple of days. I'm not sure if the installer did it or I did, but it's too late now. Fortunately, fingerprints are not bad. The silver strip on the front of the washer lid does show fingerprints horribly however. Overall, I love the set! It works great! Cleans well and quiet.
