- Answer According to the Best Buy guy I talked to this morning, high efficiency washers can not handle more than one third full. Kind of defeats the purpose of buying a larger machine if you can't fill it up

QuestionDoes LG make this very same washer (5.2 Cu. Ft.), with basically the same features, in a smaller size? I do not need the large 5.2 capacity.

QuestionCan you use pod type detergent with this washer?

- Answer Yes, you can. You just have to put it in the washer itself, not the detergent drawer. Also, due to the size of the washer, you may need to use more than one pod. Check the directions on the detergent packaging as mine stated one pod was for a medium sized load.
