To ensure sufficient clearance for water inlet hoses, drain hose and airflow, allow minimum clearances of at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) at the sides and 4 inches (10 cm) behind the washer. Be sure to allow for wall, door, or floor moldings that may increase the required clearances. Minimum vertical space from floor to overhead shelves, cabinets, ceilings, etc., is 58 inches (147cm). ^Vanessa

QuestionThe description states this model has an internal water heater. Is an external water heater not necessary with this model? I'm planning to relocate our washer/dryer to the garage and this would save me from having to install an additional water heater.

QuestionI'm not sure if this or normal or not, but when my washer is finished and I come back later to do another load the detergent trey is full of water. Is that normal or is something not draining properly?

- Answer We are having the same issue. Just got the washer this week. We close the tray before starting and every time after the wash cycle is complete the tray is full and we have to empty it so we can put in detergent for the next load.

QuestionWe just got this washer 2 days ago and we have used it 3 or 4 times. It has this very loud high pitch/frequency sound when the washer is spinning or washing. Just whenever the drum is moving. Is this normal or is something wrong with it?

QuestionCan this be used with full functionality WITHOUT the app? I have seen the (lack of) privacy required to have the app on a phone/tablet. Bc I believe in privacy- I will not use twitter/FB to access customer support. Real people have to answer bc LG wont.
