I have mine hooked up to ethernet. If there is a router in the room you can try that or run a cord through your house if you're able to hide it well enough. Maybe you can find a way to reset it? Or if you have geek squad protection they may be able to help if the TV is defective. If you just bought it, maybe you can exchange it for a new one.
