Th LG UHD 70 Series 50 inch 4K Smart TV, Model # 50UN7000PUC is not a dual voltage TV, it is rated at 120 VAC, 50/60Hz. But the voltage is the least of your worries because you can always use a step down transformer for the voltage. What is an issue are the built-in tuners in the TV. Most countries in Africa use either the PAL standard or the SECAM standard. Not sure that African countries have switched to the Digital Terrestrial TV standards yet from the analog PAL and SECAM standards. This TV and TV's designed for use in the U.S.are not compatible with those standards used in Africa. This TV like all TVs designed for use in the U.S. has three built-in tuners; an ATSC tuner, an NTSC tuner, and a QAM tuner and none of these tuners are compatible with the standards used in Africa. So even if you could use a step down transformer for the power, you will not be able to receive any TV Broadcast signals from television stations in Africa because the tuners are not compatible...^IFV
