Yes, this TV will work with internet service only. You do not need a Cable or Satellite connection. We use an Over-The-Air (OTA) antenna as well as an OTA DVR (Channel Master). When I set up this TV, I was able to connect to my internet provider through my WiFi router (although I could have used a CAT6 wire). Once connected (took 2 minutes), we were able to stream over the internet.
