• The other answers are accurate but do not get excited about the audio on this TV. I love the TV and it is a great price but this and almost all TV speakers are a joke. even the cheapest soundbar/sub combo would be a world of improvement. I thought the "alarm clock" speakers might be fine for my bedroom but had to upgrade.

• The speakers necessary don't have a size, but they do have watts! On this model there's two 10 watt speakers on the back. What it means by Virtual Surround Plus is that if booms, and bangs are happening on the left side of the screen the sound will come out of the left speaker.

• Virtual surround plus means that the speakers that are part of the TV can simulate having surround sound, like it the movie theaters.
