For screen sizes of 65 or less I would stick with a flat vs curved set. I feel to really get the benefit of a curved set and not limit your viewing angel for multiple viewers you really need to get a large set. I would say 75 inches at a minimum, but ideally 85 or larger.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I went with the flat primarily to try to future-proof myself as much as possible. Both the curved (EF9600) and the flat (EF9500) sets support HDR via streaming, but only the EF9500 has HDMI inputs that will also support HDR. From what I've read, the EF9600 will not be upgradeable to do HDR via HDMI.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only FLAT is compatible with 4K UHD bluray players as it has a HDMI 2.2..that and it looks better mounted on the wall.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The flat is better for both contrast in general and HDR.(also supports hdr through hdmi) Also curved is pointless as it really only affects off axis view. Its a stupid technology that's dying out and the only reason LG went curved is because it has a lower failure rate during production. Less cost, les price., Go flat.
