QuestionI saw that there were a lot of problems with LG OLEDS in 2018 when using Dolby Vision. The black border on the screen turning gray and then back to black. Are there any more problems in 2019? I am considering buying an LG 4K OLED B9. Mike

- Answer The total height with stand is 29 1/4”. I used some shelving to raise it another inch to accommodate a sound bar.

QuestionDo these tV's suffer from the old plasma image burn in issue if left on the same image too long ?

- Answer No, because if you pause a movie on the LG OLED then a screen saver turns on after a short time to prevent that image burn. Maybe I got lucky but I had a plasma for over 10 years and it never had an image burn issue.

QuestionHow well would this do with older 480 input? For example I like to watch old movies from over the air TV. I'd be more interested in something similar to my current plasma images. I've tried an LED model looked awful. The movies looked good on CRT.

- Answer See my review about adjusting the picture... its not fast or easy and requires patience and waiting for the computerized parts to stabilize but I have watched Old B&W and Old color (Ben Hur, the Robe) and they looked INCREDIBLE!!!! UP-CONVERSION on this is VERY GOOD! BUT this was after I got the picture adjusted for just regular TV watching first. If you get the picture set well for regular watching I think you will be impressed. I had a Panasonic Plasma before this one and wish it had not died, but this is second to it.

- Answer For me, the defining difference was in the quality of the color and the richness of the black. I watch dark movies and shows like Star Wars and GOT. My old, very expensive LED couldn’t display the scenes without adding brightness.
