A:AnswerNo, because if you pause a movie on the LG OLED then a screen saver turns on after a short time to prevent that image burn. Maybe I got lucky but I had a plasma for over 10 years and it never had an image burn issue.
A:AnswerSee my review about adjusting the picture... its not fast or easy and requires patience and waiting for the computerized parts to stabilize but I have watched Old B&W and Old color (Ben Hur, the Robe) and they looked INCREDIBLE!!!! UP-CONVERSION on this is VERY GOOD! BUT this was after I got the picture adjusted for just regular TV watching first.
If you get the picture set well for regular watching I think you will be impressed. I had a Panasonic Plasma before this one and wish it had not died, but this is second to it.
A:AnswerFor me, the defining difference was in the quality of the color and the richness of the black. I watch dark movies and shows like Star Wars and GOT. My old, very expensive LED couldn’t display the scenes without adding brightness.
