• The magic remote would use IR for the remote buttons and Bluetooth for the cursor. The IR sensor on the TV is in the center bottom of the TV under the standby light. ^ Jamal

• The remote communicates with infrared. The sensor is at the bottom edge of the tv. It usually sits below the edge and in front of the manual on/off button in the center of the tv.
