Even being flush against the wall it feels very flimsy and insecure. I don’t think it is going to fall, but having only two points of contact instead of four makes it rock back and forth. What is interesting is that the manual says to keep it flush against the wall but also says to give the TV three inches of clearance for it to breath. So either way, you will be disregarding the recommendation from the owners manual.
