Good but pricey
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This is my favorite item. I got it because I wanted something to play COD - Rebirth instead of a regular monitor for my xbox series x. Actually is one of the few that has HDMI 2.1, thats good to know because that makes you reach 4k at 120 hz. The best characteristic of this tv, is that you can get 5 year warranty for your item, C1 only has 1 year. And also the panel has new technology witch reduce the risk to damage you oled screen for fix logos. I Choose this because the warranty and the option to pay by Affirm. IMPORTANT: - The sound is not the best, you will probably need a soundbar, wich increase the cost of this iteam for 200 or 300 bucks. - G1 doesnt have stand you also will need to get one for 100 bucks, and also there are just fee stores that get them on stock. I took one start because i still think the price was high.

GO BIG OR GO HOME
||Posted .Owned for 2 months when reviewed. The image on this TV is great but on a 55” I don’t know that I can tell the difference b/this and a non OLED. The sound on the speakers is beyond terrible. So you’ll have to get a sound bar or something. It’s so annoying we can barely stand to watch movies on it. And I would not pay for the gallery option which was significantly more. It’s almost too flat and looks like a giant piece of black paper on my wall. I would also not recommend Sony bc I had to return my Sony 55” bc it randomly stopped turning on and apparently that’s a thing. On a 65” or higher this image quality is would be amazing and gallery option may be worth it at that point. Yes that’s my pitbull relaxing on the couch

Must have TV for quality, style, and function.
||Posted .Owned for 3 months when reviewed.Amazing TV. I can only recommend LG OLED TVs. Beautiful picture and amazing picture quality. I already had a C9 for the living room but wanted this G series for the bedroom. Perfectly flat against the wall like a hanging picture. Techs did a fantastic job with the install(highly recommended). The only fault is that due to design being so close to the wall the sound quality is poor. I knew that going into the purchase so got an LG sound bar and sub to pair with it. My room is like a cinema!

Love my new TV
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I love this TV. Colors look amazing. It indeed looks like a picture in the wall. We took the wall mounting with wire hiding option from best buy. They did a good job with it. I was hesitant to take the service from best buy looking at the awful reviews- but our installation went smoothly.

Beaty that complements itself
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I’ve been looking for a tv that has the ability to complement the wall it lays on, This tv does just that and so much more originally I had been looking at the GX which is last year‘s model but hearing about LG‘s new technology “EVO” I decided to wait and it definitely paid off, amazing picture and an amazing piece of art. OLED EVO is truly the next generation of TV

4k,120hz,VRR, GSync, FreeSync, Dolby Vis + more
||Posted .Owned for 7 months when reviewed.Okay so I wasn't actually ready to purchase another TV when I did. But a roommate of mine decided when he got mad at me he was gonna throw my galaxy smart watch at the TV in a brief moment of rage. The watch survived but the Sony tv did not. But boy was it a blessing mainly because of how the LG G1 & C1 panels pair with the Xbox series X. I am a PC gamer but I have an Xbox because of friends and family. But my performance in games was always half of what it was on PC do to having to use a controller as well as the big one Input Lag. It's amazing how slow the previous gen consoles were in that regard. But when I connected the series X to the LG G1 and saw that every line was now green on the Xbox display validation screen my console gaming experience blurred the line separating console gaming and PC gaming forever. Having Variable refresh rate, Gsync Freesync available, Dolby vision, 120hz available, and 4k60hz locked on some games made keyboard and mouse feel amazing! So much so I sold my gpu from my game ok mg rig and yet to replace it. I never thought in 5 years I'd have my cake and eat it to with a display good enough to game on as well as be an amazing tv. Oh yeah and the gallery wall mount that is built into the G series is pretty amazing and gets the panel as close to the wall as humanly possible. If u don't need the wall mount or have one already look at the C1 or C2 they are super solid options. I hope this wasn't to painful to read and maybe it helps someone pull the trigger on an amazing experience on the series S or X. If you have a Xbox Series X and haven't connected to a panel with HDMI 2.1 and all the specs the LG OLEDS have do yourself a favor and unlock the series x full potential and for the first time ever take away 90% of PC players advantages over console and play some pvp and see for yourself! Cheers

Q: QuestionWhat are the dimensions of the feet on the tv?
Asked by Catchphrase.
- A:Answer The LG OLED G1 includes a slim wall mount bracket and does not come with feet for tabletop mounting. The LG GX OLED 55 inch TV Stand Mount can be used for tabletop mounting. The dimensions with the stand are 48.2"W x 30.1"H x 10.7"D. The stand width is 46". ^Daphane

Q: QuestionI saw one answers here that stated the G1 has 4 HDMI 2.1 connections, but the official specifications state that is has none. So which is it? I prefer LG or an actual BB rep state whether HDMI 2.1 is part of the system and if it is, why say it isn't?
Asked by Tommy6860.
- A:Answer Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The issue has been escalated and will be resolved shortly. All 4 HDMI inputs on this model are version 2.1 and support 4K @ 120Hz. ^Daphane https://www.lg.com/us/tvs/lg-oled55g1pua-oled-4k-tv

Q: QuestionI have read the OLED ‘s are subject to image burn in if TV is left on all day with images that are stagnant on the screen such as news or weather channels that have some stagnant images. How many viewing hours does it take to cause screen burn in?
Asked by Skamin.
- A:Answer There is not a recommended viewing time to prevent burn in. Burn-in and image retention are possible on virtually any display. Most cases of burn-in in televisions is a result of static images or on-screen elements displaying on the screen uninterrupted for many hours or days at a time – with brightness typically at peak levels. If image retention occurs from extreme usage, it can usually be mitigated within a short period of time by turning the display off for a while, and watching a few hours of varying content (such as your standard TV watching and channel-surfing). OLED TVs have special features and settings to preserve image quality and prevent burn in and image retention. First, under OLED Screen Saver there is a Pixel Refresher that calibrates any issues that may arise on the screen when your TV has been turned on for a long time. Calibration takes more than an hour. The second feature that can be employed is the Screen Shift feature which, moves the screen slightly at regular intervals to preserve image quality. A third option is the Logo Luminance Adjustment, which can detect static logos on the screen and reduce brightness to help decrease permanent image retention. ^Daphane
