Thank you for raising your concern regarding LG Smart webOS TV. The LG OLED55G4SUB does have several built-in technologies and user controls to mitigate and prevent burn-in, unlike your previous LG OLED TV that suffered from this issue. The combination of automatic pixel shifting, refreshing, and brightness adjustments should help protect this newer model from permanent image retention. If problem persist, please reach out to us on social media @LGUSSupport so we can help you further. ^Cris
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Still to new for me to tell on this one. This has new pixel refresh tech that runs all the time but I still recommend getting extended warranty. They refunded me for the LG C3 that I had. I got the G4.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As far as I know, all OLEDs have burn in, so don't keep a static picture on it for any length of time. Someone more in the know might be able to answer you in more depth in regard to this particular TV. Ours is kept off unless it's in use, no static pictures left on it.
