    Asked by Robs.

    • Answer I'm 67 and retired. I purchased the G4 mainly for gaming which I do a lot. I have a C2 from 2020. The new G4 is Awesome. The updated components especially the New Processor in the G4 really makes a difference. Streaming movies in 4k HDR looks Awesome. Also the updated blue tooth allows me to use my really good Headsets. If he has hearing problems like I do, this is a great feature.

The LG OLED55G4SUB does have several built-in technologies and user controls to mitigate and prevent burn-in, unlike your previous LG OLED TV that suffered from this issue. • QuestionMy current TV has a serious issue with glare. My TV is located next to a picture window with no other location to put it. Does this TV have anti glare feature?

    Asked by LeLe.

    • Answer Hi there, Lele. The LG OLED55G4SUB features a special anti-reflective coating designed to minimize glare, making it well-suited for rooms with challenging lighting conditions, like being next to a picture window. The OLED panel technology inherently provides deep blacks and excellent contrast, which can further help in reducing the impact of ambient light on screen visibility. However, it's important to note that while the TV's anti-glare capabilities are enhanced, direct sunlight or very bright reflections may still be noticeable. Adding window treatments or placing a UV-blocking film on the window can also improve viewing conditions. https://www.lg.com/us/tvs/lg-oled55g4sub-oled-4k-tv#pdp_specs We hope this helps with your decision-making! —Renzo

  • QuestionDoes the g4 support Dolby Vision? Is the g4 capable of audio thru the tv plus audio thru Bluetooth headphones simultaneously and the ability to control the volume separately like on the Sony Bravia series?

    Asked by JeffP.

    • Answer The 55-inch Class LG OLED evo G4 4K Smart TV 2024 with Supplied TV Stand, Model # OLED55G4SUB supports Dolby Vision® IQ that combines the dynamic metadata found in Dolby Vision® content with the LG OLED TV's embedded light sensor and AI technology. Dolby Vision IQ will automatically adjust picture settings with precision detail for your Dolby Vision content depending on your room's ambient lighting conditions and content genre. You can connect a single set of Bluetooth headphones, one Bluetooth speaker, or a pair of Bluetooth speakers with the LG TV. You are able to stream audio from any of the TV's built-in sources or connected sources. Both the internal speakers of the TV and a connected Bluetooth speaker can be used to output the sound at the same time. The TV's optical digital output and HDMI eARC will be deactivated when streaming audio to Bluetooth headphones or speakers. The Bluetooth audio output's volume is variable, so volume of your Bluetooth speaker will need to be controlled by both the TV and the Bluetooth speaker for adequate volume level...^Ivan.

  • QuestionI am curious if this tv is similar to my current OLED55C9AUA? I have been very disappointed in this tv. I had to have the screen replaced after a year or so and now, I have the same thing again. This tv burns in images, don't want the same mistake

    Asked by Rock.

    • Answer Hello, Rock. Your 2019 LG C9 55-inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/AI ThinQ® (54.6'' Diag), Model # OLED55C9AUA and the 2024 55-inch Class LG OLED evo G4 4K Smart TV 2024 with Supplied TV Stand, Model # OLED55G4SUB are only similar in that they are both OLED TVs, but they do not use the same panel. Model # OLED55C9AUA uses the LG α9 Gen 2 Intelligent Processor and Model # OLED55G4SUB uses the LG α11 AI Processor 4K. The TVs run on different webOS TV Platforms/Operating Systems. The OLED55G4SUB uses Micro Lens Array (MLA) technology, which acts as a focusing layer in front of the WOLED panel, allowing it to get much brighter without running hotter. A better 2025 LG OLED TV comparison for your OLED55C9AUA would be the 2025 OLEDC4PUA. The OLED55G4SUB comes with a Limited Manufacturer's Warranty of 1 Year for Parts & Labor, and a 5 Year Panel warranty. In the 1st year of the limited warranty, panel, parts and labor costs are covered. In the 2nd year of the limited warranty, only the panel is covered; labor will be charged. The 5-year limited panel warranty is available for the other screen sizes in the G4 Series...^ivan

  • QuestionI am considering the purchase of an open-box item. The description says there is a one year parts/labor warranty and five year panel warranty. Is this correct? Is warranty service provided by LG or Best Buy? What is the start date of the warranty?

    Asked by LenNC.

    • Answer Hi, Len. Thank you for considering the LG TV (OLED55G4SUB) model. We're happy to clarify the warranty details for you! For LG OLED TVs like this unit, open-box items typically carry the same warranty as new products, provided they are purchased from an authorized retailer such as Best Buy. This includes a one-year parts and labor warranty and a five-year limited warranty for the panel. Warranty service is provided by LG, so any service or repairs would be directly handled by our authorized technicians. The warranty start date is generally based on the original purchase date, even for open-box items. We recommend keeping a copy of your purchase receipt for verification purposes.
