Click down arrow and you'll see the cc on the bottom of screen (along with sap and which is video description.) Move arrow to highlight cc and click OK to turn on/off.

Please try again later.If you look at the remote that comes with the LG - 55" Class (54.6" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV - Gray, Black, Model # 55UH6150, right under the Power button is s button labeled "Caption". Activating or deactivating subtitles is easily done by pressing that button. If you are using a cable or satellite box, the caption options in the TV may be inactive based on how the set-top box or satellite receiver is connected to the TV. In that case, captions will need to be activated in the menu of your cable or satellite box...^IFV
