What added benefit do I get from HDR over a non-HDR TV? null

HDR expands the range of color and contrast significantly. What you think are bright parts of the image get even brighter, so the image appears to have more "depth." Colors are expanded to show brighter blues, greens, reds etc. HDR for TVs is made to show you a more realistic image, with more contrast, brightness and color than ever. ^CP
