Even though LG does business in many countries, the TVs sold in the USA are engineered to meet the electrical and broadcast standards used in the USA, and nowhere else in the world. If you are planning to relocate to the Philippines or give this TV to someone who lives there, DO NOT buy a TV Sold in the USA, as it will not work in the Philippines, and you will be throwing your money away. Buy a TV from a retailer in the Philippines because LG, or other TV makers will have TVs the are designed to work in that country.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is response to the one who answered this question. I think the question is not only about the voltage, but more so on the tuner - whether the signal is compatible with the local channels. I don't have the answer to that. The manufacturer will be more in a position to address the particular query, or anyone who had actually tried using this model in the Philippines.
