Even though LG does business in many countries, the TVs sold in the USA are engineered to meet the electrical and broadcast standards used in the USA, and nowhere else in the world. If you are planning to relocate to another country or give this TV to someone who lives in another country, DO NOT buy a TV Sold in the USA, as it will not work in other countries, and you will be throwing your money away. Buy a TV from a retailer in the county where you plan to move, because LG, or other TV makers will have TVs the are designed to work in that country.
