“How can I get a copy of the guide for using the remote on this TV. I can not find on the remote how to change setings such as brightness, color, contrast? Maybe I don't under stand what the symbols mean. I do not have the manual. This was a gift.”

Hoy the home button and there is a symbol that looks like a gear or cog. Use that. Hope this helps!

On the standard remote control that came as an included accessory with the TV is a row of buttons under the power button. The second button after the Close Captioning/Subtitle button (CC/SUB) is the Settings button (a cog icon) When you press on the settings button, the TV will display a set of light-weight controls on the right-side of the screen, one of which is the Picture Mode setting (second icon down that is blue with a white TV icon) Cursor to that and click the 'OK' button on the remote control. That will open another set of settings such as Picture Mode, Picture Mode Settings, etc., Clicking on the Picture Mode Settings will allow you to access the Contrast, Brightness, Sharpness, Color, Tint, and Color Temperature settings...^IFV
