The LG UK6300PUE 4K HDR Smart LED UHD TV w/ AI ThinQ® - 55" Class (54.6" Diag), Model # 55UK6300PUE is a 16:9 Aspect Ration TV (its resolution of 3840 x 2160 is a 16:9 Aspect Ratio resolution). Most TV programming and cable programming, if not all, is broadcast at an Aspect Ration of 16:9 and should fit exactly on the TV screen. If the programming is broadcast at a larger Aspect Ratio, you will get black bands on the top and bottom of the picture (letterboxing) and if it is broadcast at a smaller Aspect Ratio, you will get black bands on the sides (Pillarboxing). You can also zoom in on the TV Display by pressing the 'Live Zoom' button on the remote control or clicking on the 'Start Live Zoom' button that appears in the lower-right corner of the screen. Pressing the 'Live Zoom' or 'Back' on the remote returns you back to the original screen...^IFV
