The width of the stand on this 55 inch TV is roughly 33 inches. That is a great question that everyone needs to think about and ask, I was initially thinking about purchasing the 65 inch model, but with the stand on the 65 inch model having a stand with feet at the very farthest end of that TV, it would not have fit where I was putting it

Not sure if wanting from below the TV or length from the connection point, etc. I would highly recommend you to mount this TV. Either to the wall, or to a mountable TV stand. The stand that comes with it is ok, but not the greatest. Wonderful once mounted.
