The Nano 9 has an optical audio connection. There is an option in the sound settings where you can use this Optical audio and the TV's internal speakers at the same time. I have hearing aids and my wife can't stay in the room if I turn the speakers up to where I can hear the TV. I have an external box made by SurfLink which feeds my hearing aids using blue tooth. The external box has several input ports, one of which is an input which uses Optical Audio. I managed to get a long Optical Audio cable and I can feed my hearing aids using the SurfLink box which has its own volume control. Best Buy might have something that will give you a way to take advantage of this solution. Now, my wife and I can both enjoy TV in the same room. I hope that this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sorry, I don't know the answer to either question. You might be able to look at the owner's manual on line. We don't use cable. I stream YouTubeTV, Netflix, Prime Video. They all work great. So far the tv has performed exceptionally well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When headphones are in use, the TV's internal speakers are disabled. A cable box can be connected to the TV via HDMI. ^CP
