Hi Billy. What you are describing on the LG NanoCell 85 Series 2020 55 inch Class 4K Smart UHD NanoCell TV w/ AI ThinQ® (54.6'' Diag), Model # 55NANO85UNA is what is commonly referred to as flashlighting which is a common problem in LED LCD TVs.This TV is an Edge-Lit TV and the LEDs are only on the edge of the screen. Both the LCD screen and the diffuser layers are somewhat flexible. A slight difference in pressure on the frame of the television can change the uniformity of the picture. If your flashlighting issue is caused by an issue with the frame’s pressure, it can be adjusted by slightly loosening or tightening the screws behind the edge of the screen. A slight difference in pressure on the frame of the television can change the uniformity of the picture. This issue can be due to a slight variance in the manufacturing or shipping process. Please contact our Support Center at (800) 243-0000 and our Support Representatives can assist you with making arrangements for a Service Technician to correct the issue...^IFV
