• TV is great with dark scenes while watching movies - just make sure the power saving feature is turned off from stock setting of being enabled or everything will be too dark all of the time - that is the cure for limited brightness when taken out of the box.

• I have not used this TV for any game playing. It has excellent color though, and truly has Depth to the picture. Happy with the LG TV!
