My research says that my 2017 E7 series LG OLED TV does not provide 3D capability.....and that 3D has faded from the operational desires of the buying public. Now...being able to see in 3D versus simply playing existing 3D contented movies may be the correct question to ask. Unfortunately...I never experienced a 3D picture, and I have no 3D contented movies. I would suspect that you could play the 3D movies...just not see in 3D. I would just say....that I love this 2017 E7 because of the built in sound bar and picture quality. Fantastic TV.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not tried to view 3D movies. But my inclination is that they will not be viewable on this LG OLED TV. Technology is usually backward compatable, but not forward.
