“What are the advantages of the glass screen? It seems to me that the increased reflection could be a negative. Also heavier and easier to break? How is it worth the higher cost? It appears to come with a wall mount, does it also come with a stand?”

As a new owner of this TV. I can tell you we are very happy. The picture is simply amazing. It is a very fragile TV. Must be handled by two people. It does come with a metal stand. I cant speak of reflection too much as there is now windows or light source behind our viewing area. Is any TV worth $3,000? probably not. Its a personal preference thing. With this TV, you get the best picture with awesome sound. My only beef is I would love the capability to hook up wireless bass to complete the sound. I don't think its possible to go completely wireless bass.
