“Does this TV only work with the smart control?”

• Ours works with the remote from our old LG tv as well as the new remote.

• I'm not sure what you are asking. What do you man by "smart control"? Model 55UP8000PUA comes with a Magic remote, but you can use a standard remote. Please clarify your question so that I can provide a useful and accurate response. Thank you. ^Daphane
