I am curious if you found the answer to your question. I have the same model and the same problem. The smell is noticeable when the oven is on, and the flames are orange in the back of the oven.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A Blue Flame indicates complete combustion and red or yellow flames may be the sign of incomplete combustion which is why you are getting that smell of propane in the oven of your LG 6.3 cu. ft. Gas Single Oven Range with ProBake Convection® and EasyClean®, Model # LRG4113ST. With hydrocarbon flames, such as gas, the amount of oxygen supplied with the gas determines the rate of combustion, flame colour and temperature. With enough oxygen, you get complete combustion and an LPG (Propane) flame burns at a temperature of around 1,980°C. Air openings are located at the rear of the cooktop, at the top and bottom of the oven door, and at the bottom of the range. Do not block the vents and air openings of the range. They provide the air inlet and outlet that are necessary for the range to operate properly with correct combustion...^IFV
