“When I choose bake mode instead of convection convert will the oven work as a regular conventional oven or is it still a convection oven?”

• If you haven't switched to convectional mode, your oven should work as a conventional one. That should be the default setting. You should review manual as I have not yet used it to bake with convection settings.
