- A: AnswerClean the stove top before using it the first time. That's what the instructions say. I think folks are missing that and the protective coating is scratching or something. I haven't had any issues. Scrape it clean with the scraper, and it stays clean. I use all types of pots and pans on mine, no issue with scratching. Smooth bottom skillets and pans are best. Steel is betterthan copper. I use my cast iron, carefully because it's a glass stove top. I'm careful, but I slide aluminum and steel skillets from one burner to another, no scratches at all. I was worried by the reviews, thought I'd made a mistake buying it, So many talked about scratches and hard to clean, but that hasn't been my experience at all. I use CeramaBryte cleaner kit, came with a scraper for tough stains, but once it was clean, it stays clean. Wipe spills up while the stove is hot makes it easier, wear an oven mitt or a dish towel cause it's hot. No regrets. It was tricky at first coming from a old plain Whirlpool electric coil range, but it's a pleasure to use and makes it easier because it heats up quick and hot. Really makes a difference. Air fryer doesnt use oil, it uses air. Dark, low sided cookie sheet does chicken nuggets frozen fries, that stuff, no problem. Spray some cooking oil to crisp stuff up, but there's no runoff. I cook bacon in the oven, use convection settong, drain the grease halfway through, same as any oven, but the convection gets hotter and cooks more evenly. Cooking, in general, goes faster because it's hotter quicker and more controlled.

Q: QuestionIs the Stainless Steal Print the no finger prints or not?(2 answers)
A: AnswerI have found that the stainless steel does leave some minor finger prints. Also be mindful that the top surface scratches very easily so choose wisely which pans and cookware you use. I have more surface scratches from just placing the pan on the stove then actually scratching it myself. :-(Answered by LG01

Q: QuestionDoes this electric range require a 4 prong plug?.(4 answers)
A: AnswerHi Patw. The power cord for the range oven is not supplied with the range oven and has to be purchased separately. Like all other Electrical Range Ovens, you can use either a 3-conductor or a 4-conductor power supply cord with the LG 6.3 Cu. Ft. Freestanding Single Electric Convection Range with Air Fry and WideView™ Window - PrintProof™ Black Stainless Steel, Model # LREL6323D. All the wiring for the range oven should conform to your local codes and to the latest edition of the National Electrical Code ANSI/NFPA No. 70. A 4-wire connection is required for all mobile and manufactured home installations, as well as all new construction after January 1, 1996. A 4-wire connection must be used where local codes do not permit grounding through the neutral wire.If you are not sure which one is allowed in your area, please contact your local building inspector or consult with a qualified electrician...^IFVAnswered by LG Digital Customer Care

Highly recommend
For under $1000, I couldn’t be happier with our purchase. LG has been a good dependable brand for me in the past. The stove top and oven heat nice and evenly and the stove itself has a sleek modern design with the royal blue interior. It gives that extra aesthetic appeal that makes your dish look all the more delectable ! If I had one thing I would change it would be to have a cool top rather than the glass. That is completely a personal preference because glass tops seem to crack so easily.

We like it so far.
We were asked to review this LG range. We've only had it 3 weeks and so far we like it. We were concerned about it fitting in our all white kitchen, but it looks beautiful. We've had no problem so far with the burners, oven, setting oven and timer are easy. It is a little time consuming setting oven and timer as there are no numbers on the touch pad and you have to push an arrow up or down to set each thing. This takes longer than touching a few numbers. One thing is the storage drawer is smaller than our old GE Profile and things in it get very hot. Our biggest problem so far was setting the clock. We checked the manual, online, tried everything but it wouldn't set and kept going back to the default time that was there when we got it. We called the number Best Buy gave us if we had problems. The man we talked to said we had to call the manufacturer! We tried some more then called Best Buy's Geek Squad. We got a few suggestions like turning off the power breaker. We did that several times with no luck. We called Geek Squad again and they said they would send the installer back. We were quite surprised when they turned up in the same type of huge semi-truck. The installer came in and tried and tried to set the clock. He looked at the manual, asked if we turned off the breaker, he fiddled with it further and finally got it set. I asked him how he did it and he tried to show me, but his English was not good and pointing at things gave me a vague idea how to do it. I couldn't explain it to anyone though. I hope we don't need help every time we have a power outage or every Fall and Spring we have to change the time. Other than this problem, so far I really like the range and am looking forward to using the convection oven and air fryer.
