  • QuestionOur current gas range is about two inches from the wall due to the gas line. We're wondering if an electric oven (this one specifically) can sit closer to the wall and if so, how close?

    Asked by Wall.

    • Answer Hello there, Wall. Thank you for reaching out! We understand you're considering placing the LG LSEL6335FE Slide-In Electric Range closer to the wall and are wondering about the clearance requirements. For electric ranges like this one, it is essential to ensure proper ventilation and airflow to prevent overheating or potential hazards. Based on the installation instructions for the LSEL6335FE model, the recommended clearance from the wall or any cabinetry is typically 1 inch on the back and 1 inch on the sides. However, for the best performance and safety, we suggest allowing slightly more space if possible, especially for the electrical connections and to avoid obstructing airflow. As a potential troubleshooting step, please double-check the installation clearance in the user manual, as this will provide detailed specifications for your setup. https://www.lg.com/us/cooking-appliances/lg-lsel6335fe-slide-in-electric-range#pdp_specs We understand your situation and are here to help! • QuestionHow do you clean this soft top cooktop? I am used to the hard ceramic cooktop. I would appreciate an answer.

    Asked by Mindy.

    • Answer The top on this stove top range is not the conventional ceramic. It feels like a soft material almost like a plastic type which I know it’s not plastic. Can you use that ceramic based material to clean it.? I’m actually inquiring for my daughter because she has a new one that I purchased for her. I have a GE ceramic and I use that ceramic kit, and if something gets stuck on their usually scrubber and the blade to takeoff material, but to me, it does not appear that you could use most of that stuff on this type of top on the LG that she has.

  • QuestionDoes this oven have a proofing drawer and if so, how does it work?

    Asked by Scott.

    • Answer Hello there, Scott. Thank you for your inquiry about the LSEL6335FE Slide-In Electric Range. This model does not have a proofing drawer. Instead, it features a storage drawer at the bottom, which is designed to help you store kitchen necessities and keep your space organized. The storage drawer does not function as a proofing drawer, which is typically used for warming dough at a low temperature to help it rise. If you're specifically looking for an oven with a proofing function, you might want to explore other models that offer a dedicated proofing or warming drawer for dough. https://www.lg.com/us/cooking-appliances/lg-lsel6335fe-slide-in-electric-range#pdp_specs If you have any other questions or need assistance, feel free to send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport, and we’re happy to help! —Renzo

  • QuestionModel:LSEL6335FE: LG - 6.3 Cu. Ft. Smart Slide-In Electric True Convection Range with EasyClean and Air Fry - Stainless Steel Can this oven be used as a Dehydrator for fruit and veggies? Where to purchase the royal blue accessories like the broiler pan?

    Asked by Stephen.

    • Answer Hello there, Stephen. Thank you for reaching out! We understand that you’re looking to use your LG LSEL6335FE Smart Slide-In Electric Range as a dehydrator for fruits and veggies. While your oven doesn't have a specific "dehydrator" mode, you can still use the Proof mode to mimic dehydration. Set the temperature to a low setting (around 120°F) and keep the oven door slightly ajar to allow moisture to escape, much like a dehydrator. Just be sure to check on your items regularly to avoid over-drying. As for purchasing royal blue accessories, like the broiler pan, we recommend sending us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport for any further assistance, and we’ll be happy to help you explore more options. https://www.lg.com/us/cooking-appliances/lg-lsel6335fe-slide-in-electric-range#pdp_specs We appreciate your patience! —Renzo

  • QuestionI am shopping electric ranges. One feature of some ranges is "no preheat time for the oven". Does this oven feature that? If not, what is the difference in time to preheat this oven vs the no preheat ovens?

    Asked by John.

    • Answer Hi there, John. Thank you for your question. We understand that you're considering the LG LSEL6335FE Slide-In Electric Range and would like to know more about the preheating time. This model, like many other conventional ovens, does not have a "no preheat" feature. Preheating is required to bring the oven to the desired temperature before cooking. On average, it may take 10 to 15 minutes for the oven to fully preheat, depending on the temperature setting. However, the ProBake Convection® technology in this oven ensures that heat is distributed evenly, which helps to reduce cooking times once the oven is preheated. In contrast, ovens with "no preheat" technology, like some air fryers or special convection ovens, might be able to cook food faster by starting to heat the food immediately, bypassing the preheat step. These ovens are designed to reach and maintain the cooking temperature faster. https://www.lg.com/us/cooking-appliances/lg-lsel6335fe-slide-in-electric-range#pdp_specs For further assistance or if you have any other questions, please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport, and we'll be happy to help you! • QuestionCan you tell me about the oven light. Mine randomly turns on by itself.

    Asked by Kelly.

    • Answer There is nothing much to tell about the oven light in the LG 6.3 Cu. Ft. Smart Slide-In Electric True Convection Range with EasyClean® and Air Fry - PrintProof™ Stainless Steel, Model # LSEL6335FE other than what is described in the manual which states that the interior oven light automatically turns on when the door is opened, that you can press Light to manually turn the oven light on, and that it urns off automatically after 90 seconds. If it 'randomly turns on by itself' as you have mentioned, you either have a faulty door switch or the bulb is loose within its socket and will need to be screwed in securely...^Ivan.
