  • QuestionDoes this oven have a safety lock feature for the cooking knobs? This would help prevent child or cat accidental turning on the cooking knobs and causing burns or fire.

    Asked by KnobsLock.

    • Answer Hi. The LG 6.3 cu Ft. Smart Wi-Fi Enabled ProBake Convection® InstaView® Gas Slide-In Range with Air Fry, Model # LSGL6335F has a unique safety function called ‘Lock Out’ or ‘Control Lock’ available on LG electric ranges with front-mounted knobs since 2015. When activated, this innovative function, available only on LG ranges, locks the cooktop heating elements from being turned on even when the knob is turned. LG cautions consumers to keep children and pets away from the knobs, to check the oven knobs to ensure they are off before leaving home or going to bed, and not to leave objects on the oven when it is not in use. Consumers can reach LG Electronics at 800-399-3265 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, by email at [email protected], or online at lgecares.com/rangerecall to request a free warning label and placement instructions that reminds them to use the control lock function on the oven panel to prevent accidental activation of the heating elements. ..^Ivan.

  • QuestionCan this be installed flush to a wall and how much clearance does it need from the vent?

    Asked by AC.

    • Answer Hi there. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand your inquiry regarding the installation and clearance for your LG 6.3 Cu. Ft. Smart Slide-In Gas True Convection Range (LSGL6333F). This slide-in model is designed to sit flush against the rear wall, provided your gas supply line and electrical outlet are recessed within the designated areas shown in the installation manual. Regarding the vent, we recommend maintaining a minimum clearance of 30 inches between the cooking surface and the bottom of an unprotected wood or metal cabinet, or 24 inches if the bottom of the cabinet is protected by a fire-retardant material. Always ensure the rear vent remains unobstructed to allow for proper airflow during operation. https://www.bestbuy.com/product/lg-6-3-cu-ft-smart-slide-in-gas-true-convection-range-with-easyclean-and-air-fry-stainless-steel/J7G565357G For further assistance and any specific concerns you may have, please contact us on [email protected]. —Renzo

  • Question1. What is the dB-A could I expect from this range when both the convection fan and cooling fan are operating? - my 6 year old Bosch dishwasher is 44 dB-A - my 22 year old Maytag refrigerator is 38 dB-A - my LOUD new Frigidaire range is 63 -70 dB-A

    Asked by NotafanofFrigidaire.

    • Answer Hi there, thank you for your inquiry regarding the LSGL6335F range. When both the convection fan and the cooling fan are operating, you can expect the noise level to be approximately 50 dB-A. This is relatively quiet compared to standard kitchen appliances, providing a comfortable cooking environment. We understand how important noise levels can be, especially in an open-concept space. • QuestionDoes this stove need to be vented outside or does a simple microwave vent work?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Hi there! Thank you for your question about the LSGL6335D stove. This model is designed for venting through the wall to the outside for optimal performance, especially when using it for cooking at higher temperatures. While a simple microwave vent can help with minor smoke and odors, it may not be sufficient for effective ventilation while cooking. For best results, it’s recommended to use an appropriate range hood or venting system.
