• Believe I had this version --it comes with a griddle that fits onto the center grate

• I don't believe you can on this model. I came across this model because I specifically wanted a round center burner and NOT a griddle. After looking at the manual for similar models, I think you need to research one of these models for the griddle option: LDG4315 / LDG4313
