QuestionIs there any way to light and use the OVEN in a power outage?

- Answer No, in case of power failure, the oven cannot be used. The oven and broiler cannot be used during a power outage. If the oven is in use when a power failure occurs, the oven burner shuts off and cannot be re-lit until power is restored. Once power is restored, you will need to reset the oven (or Broil function). ^Daphane

QuestionThe current gas connection does not have a shut off valve =we will have to have that done. (suggestions on who does this?) ICurrent gas line comes up approx 18 inches from the floor so stove will not be flush to wall. How low should the pipe be cut

- Answer This range CAN use LP (Propane) or Natural Gas. Not sure why the other person answered no. The must not know that LP stands for Liquid Propane.

QuestionCan the gas hose be tuck nicely behind the range so that it can be pushed all the way to the back wall. Some ranges have a flat back and do not allow the hoses anywhere to go so the range will no sit close to the wall. A 2 inch gap is not acceptable .

- Answer I believe it does have a sabbath mode .If are referring o the Jewish holiday .You just have to program the stove so it will recognize that day .
