“Does this TV produce much heat? I want to mount it on the wall next to a thermostat but am concerned of a false reading resulting in a cold room”

• No it doesn't produce a lot of heat, but would advise to place 12 inches away if possible.

• no, not at all. not like my plasma tv. they are made not to give out all the heat like they used to.

• I have had the TV for a little over 2 weeks and I haven't noticed any excessive heat. Even after a few hours of on time it doesn't get to hot.
