“What is the depth behind the window frame? How far does it stick out?”

• How far out the LG 6,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner, Model # LW6017R will stick outside your window will depend on how deep your window sill is. The unit has a depth of 14 3/8" from front to back and the left and right frame guide panels that have the curtains attached that you pull the upper sash down behind are about 6 inches from the front so about 7" to 8" will stick outside the window...^IFV

• The 6,000 BTU LG sticks out inside about 3 to 4 inches. Outside of the back portion sticks out about a foot. Overall its not to bad but I wish it had a room humidity defuser system. Its more like a swamp cooler.
