• The stand is made to put a sound bar right in it I have one it's perfect In fact You need a very wide TV stand it's 54" wide at the stand

• Because the front suppport bar extends out about 6 inches in front of the tv I think it would be difficult to find a sound bar that can fit in front of it without it looking like an after thought. LG might make one for their tv.

• Jay, Happy New Year and may it be a healthy and prosperous one for you. There is a gap of 2.12" between the bottom of the LG 65" Class (64- 5/8" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 3D - 4K - Ultra HD TV, Model # 65UB9500 and the surface that you will have it sitting on so any Sound Bar that you place in front of the TV should be about that height in order for it to not block the sensor...IFV
