Q: Can you notice a difference on xbox one or ps4 games, coming from a 1080p tv?
A: I've only played far cry, on ps4, on it so far, just because I was in the middle of it when I got the TV. I was playing on a 47" 1080p Samsung. And yes I do notice a considerable difference. Now weather that's because I jumped up to a 65" or it's the 4k up scaling im not quite sure, but either way I'm very pleased. And the sound is much better also, but for the full gaming effect I do run it through a 1150 watt 7.2 dolby atmos sound sound system. I think sound is as important as picture. And as far as delay, I haven't noticed any delay. But I think that would be more of an Internet connection issue.... Also one plus that I like, is you can make any game 3D without losing any high def quality.
A: Thank you for your inquiry. The LG 65" Class (64-5/8" Diag.) - LED - 2160p -Smart - 3D4K Ultra HDTV, Model # 65UB9500 can be considered "Future Proof" in some regards since it does possess both a "Tru 4K engine" and a 4K resolution upscaler, but keep in mind that the new HDMI 2.0 capability is still a work in progress and the upgrades for that are still pending until the new standards are finalized and the TV industry is able to provide 4K content so the term "Future Proof" may not be appropriate just yet. The potential is there but they way it works is that The spec comes first, then the chip makers design and build the chips, then TV, Blu-ray, and receiver manufacturers build these chips into TVs, Blu-ray players, and receivers. This TV does have the H.265 (HEVC) built in and John Taylor, Vice President Public Affairs and Communications at LG is on record with reassurances that this TV and Future Ultra HD TVs from LG will include this HDMI 2.0 capability and have a solution to handle 60Hz 4K content...IFV

Q: Can you change the refresh rates on this tv?
A: I could not find a option to change the refresh rate itself on this TV. It does give you the option of motion blur adjustments. And some settings changes the refresh rate for you. Sports and Game modes have the highest refresh rates, and Movie mode has lower more natural 60hrz refresh when 24p is active.
