No this is coming later this year. I doubt your eyes could see much difference unless content was specifically made to show off the tech..

The LG - 65" Class (64-5/8" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 3D - 4K Ultra HD TV - Black Model 65LB9500 is not a Quantum Dot TV, that technology was only recently showcased at CES and TVs from manufacturers using that technology have not shipped to stores as yet. That technology will be featured on some of the new 2015 TVs. The 65LB9500 is an LED LCD and Quantum Dot TVs are still LCD TVs that instead of using LEDs will be using Quantum Dots...IFV
